Eventective released the results of an online poll that asked planners “What is most important to you when choosing an event space?” According to Eventective’s online poll, price is the most important consideration for planners as they select venues for their weddings, parties, meetings and other social occasions.
Of 1,654 poll respondents, 65 percent chose price with location a distant second at 14 percent. Special considerations, such as the option for planners to bring in their own catering or decorations, were important to 12 percent. Seven percent of planners chose ambience and only two percent selected amenities.
As planners research event venues, price ultimately plays a large role in their decision making process and final selection.
