Rogue River Lodge

The Rogue River Lodge has a very rich history, originally built in 1937, the lodge consisted of a fishing lodge with a restaurant and six cabins that sat along the banks of the Rogue River. Over the years, it has enjoyed some pretty amazing guests and entertainers, including John Wayne, Bing Crosby, Ginger Rogers, Giorgio Armani, and many more.

Oregon Event Venues: Rogue River Lodge

History

Lee and Anne Kimball are the eighth owners of the Rogue River Lodge, having purchased the property in 2009. Their first year of ownership, they completely remodeled the main building as well as the riverside cabin into one of the premier dining destinations of the Rogue Valley.

Not only was the Lodge voted second best Lodge in Southern Oregon for the restaurant; it also has a five-star rating for Cabin#2 – the only original 1937 cabin to survive the Christmas Eve flood of 1964.

The cabin is available year-round and popular with young and old guests alike. With 165 feet of river frontage, era appropriate décor, cozy sitting room with a fireplace, and a delicious breakfast served each day on the privacy of the deck, what more could you want? It also serves as the honeymoon suite for our bridal couples as part of their wedding package!

Event Venue

After five years of running the lodge, the Kimballs decided to share the beauty of this riverside property with a wider clientele. By creating a premier seasonal event venue, they opened their property to more than their lodging and dining guests.   Over the last eight years, Lee and Anne have hosted over 120 events at Rogue River Lodge – everything from corporate events, wedding and anniversary celebrations, to class reunions and celebrations of life.

Enjoying tremendous success as a wedding venue, the Kimballs believed there was tremendous opportunity to develop additional business through corporate events, company parties, large family and class reunions, as well as birthday, anniversaries, and memorial celebrations.

Experience with Eventective

While evaluating various event websites, the Lee and Anne were impressed with the diversity of opportunities that Eventective referrals brought. While weddings continue to dominate their bookings, the number and quality of non-wedding event leads have been impressive.  They have “test driven” several other subscription services which offered very few viable non-wedding leads.

Eventective Customer Service has been excellent and responsive. Minor technical issues with being able to filter referrals aside, the Kimballs have found themselves being “brand ambassadors” and regularly recommend the website to other event vendors.

Rogue River Lodge

Testimonial

We opted to go with the highest subscription package and have no regrets – the leads provided are well worth the annual fee and the website provides a lot of flexibility in terms of the types of leads you wish to see, the timing of when you are open to book events, etc. Eventective has proven to be a very productive and efficient tool for us in terms of transparency and communication to/from our guests.
